Who Is Luna Fenner?
Luna Fenner is a young girl whose story has touched people all over the world.
She was born with a rare condition called:
Congenital Melanocytic Nevi (CMN)
CMN causes large pigmented birthmarks to develop on the skin and can sometimes involve serious medical complications requiring ongoing monitoring, surgeries, and treatment.
But if you’ve seen Luna’s story, you already know: this isn’t what defines her.
What people connect with is:
- her spirit
- her strength
- her smile
- and the incredible resilience shown by both Luna and her family
Her story has been featured internationally and has inspired countless people to rethink beauty, strength, and compassion.

Why We’re Hosting This Event
At Tradition Jiu-Jitsu Academy, we believe Jiu-Jitsu is about far more than technique or competition.
It’s about:
- supporting people
- building community
- showing up when it matters
Medical treatment, travel, procedures, and daily expenses place enormous pressure on families facing long-term health challenges.
This fundraiser is our way of helping carry some of that weight.
And based on the response we’ve already seen from the Treasure Coast community, we know people are ready to rally behind Luna.

Why Events Like This Matter
One of the most powerful things about Jiu-Jitsu is the community behind it.
People from completely different backgrounds train together every day:
- parents
- business owners
- law enforcement
- kids
- first responders
- students
- teachers
And when someone needs help, the community shows up.
That’s what this event represents.
Not just training.
Not just fundraising.
But people choosing to support a family during one of the hardest journeys imaginable.
A Message to the Treasure Coast Jiu-Jitsu Community
Whether you train in:
- Port St. Lucie
- Stuart
- Jensen Beach
- Palm City
- Fort Pierce
- Vero Beach
- anywhere on the Treasure Coast
We’d love to have you there.
Bring teammates. Bring family. Bring friends.
Come roll. Come support. Come be part of something meaningful.
You Don’t Have to Train to Attend
This is important. Even if you don’t train Jiu-Jitsu, you are still welcome.
Come:
- grab food
- support the raffles
- listen to music
- donate
- meet the community
The goal is simple: help Luna and her family however we can.
Tradition Jiu-Jitsu Academy: Building More Than Fighters
This event reflects exactly what we want our academy to stand for.
Yes, we teach:
- self-defense
- confidence
- discipline
- fitness
But more importantly, we want to build:
- strong people
- strong families
- strong community ties
Roll for Luna represents all of that.
Final Thoughts: Let’s Show Up for Luna
At the end of the day, this isn’t about who gets the most rounds in.
It’s about showing a family they’re not carrying this alone.
If you’ve ever experienced the support of the Jiu-Jitsu community, you already understand how powerful that can be.
Now we have an opportunity to direct that support toward someone who truly needs it.
We hope to see the mats full on June 27th.
